• Started in 1954, Our Lady of Mercy School has been educating shoreline students from pre-kindergarten to grade eight for over 55 years

• Recipient of  2012 U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award

• Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

• Among top 100 schools with the highest number of qualified students from the John Hopkins University Center for Talented and Gifted Students

• OLM 8th grade students consistently place within the top 10% on local area high school entrance exams

• Each class scored in the 90^th percentile or above, in the nationally based IOWA TEST OF BASIC SKILLS, in the last couple of years
