The Early Childhood Team:

  • Recognizes each child as a gifted individual who has innate abilities, potential and creativity
  • Promotes independence that fosters the Gospel values of love and respect for others
  • Fosters a developmentally appropriate environment committed to stimulating the child’s intellect and curiosity, and to nurturing the child’s critical thinking skills.

Curriculum:

Religion
The child develops a relationship with God, a respect for others, and a reverence for God’s creation. Religion classes are conducted daily.

Project Approach
Our early childhood team integrates STREAM science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and mathematics in an interdisciplinary approach. The teachers encourage the child to work in small groups, investigate, and express ideas.

Language Arts
In a print-rich environment that includes children’s literature of recognized quality, the early learner explores words, letters, and sounds.

Mathematics
The early learner is introduced to the language of mathematics through a multi-sensory approach that introduces concepts and provides opportunities for the child to work cooperatively to solve problems, reason, think, and communicate ideas.

Balanced Program
Our program educates the whole child, spiritually, educationally, and physically. The children are involved with physical education, music, World Language, and technology.
